Eupatoria (or Evpatoria or Evpatoriya) is situated on the Black sea coast of Crimean peninsula in about 60 km. north from Simferopol International airport and about 160 km. north of Yalta. Population is about 100,000 inhabitants. Modern Eupatoria is a popular Black Sea resort with sandy beaches, mineral springs, and mud baths.
Evpatoria is one of the most ancient city in Crimea. In 2003 Yevpatoria celebrated its 2500 -th birth day.
Mean winter temperature is about + 1°. Summer temperature is about + 25°. Mean Black sea temperature during the summer months is about + 22°.
