Some facts about Kiev (Kyiv):

Kiev (or in Ukrainian Kyiv) with a population of about 2.7 million inhabitants is the largest city, the capital of Ukraine. Kiev is located in the north central part of Ukraine on both sides of the Dnipro River, which flows south through the city towards the Black Sea. Daily trains run to (from) most of Ukrainian cities, many parts of Europe, Russia etc. Kiev has two airports: Borispol airport, serving many International airlines and smaller Zhulyany Airport, serving mostly domestic flights.
